Queen sends sweet message to Meghan and Harry's son, Archie for his second birthday

The Queen has wished her great-grandson Archie a happy birthday as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's son turned two today.

A tweet from the Royal Family social media accounts stated: "Wishing Archie Mountbatten-Windsor a very happy 2nd birthday today."

The accounts shared a photo of Meghan and Harry, who is holding baby Archie in his arms, taken just days after the toddler was born in 2019, becoming seventh-in-line to the throne.

It was the moment the Duke and Duchess of Sussex introduced their firstborn to the world at Buckingham Palace, and one of the very few times he has been photographed and seen in person by the Queen.

The Sussexes are fiercely protective of their son, who will soon become a big brother.

Meghan, 39, is pregnant with a baby girl and told Oprah Winfrey that she is due to give birth in the "summertime".
