Candidate for American senate admits to sexting woman, but says he WON'T step down

Candidate for American senate admits to sexting a woman who is not his wife but says he won't step down.

North Carolina Democratic Senate candidate Cal Cunningham confirmed he sexted with a woman who was not his wife but plans to keep campaigning.

“I have hurt my family, disappointed my friends, and am deeply sorry. The first step in repairing those relationships is taking complete responsibility, which I do. I ask that my family’s privacy be respected in this personal matter,” Cunningham said, adding he would not leave the race.

“Would make my day to roll over and kiss you right now,” Cunningham wrote in one of the steamy messages to Arlene Guzman Todd, a public relations professional in California.

“I want to kiss you,” Todd said elsewhere. “I want a night with you.”
